I bought these brand new and the left AirPod was always very staticy.
I didn’t realize they were recalled because of that issue so I never got it fixed.
The right AirPod still works totally fine and so does the charging case.
Replacing that left AirPod might fix it all. But I was given new AirPods so I don’t need this anymore.
To sum it up:
Case and right AirPod work. You only hear static from the left AirPod
