These Leica M-Filters are made of optically pure glass, parallel plane ground and precisely annealed. Thus the full performance of the Leica M-Lenses is retained even with a filter attached.
By modifying the conversion of colours to greyscale values, these lens filters offer new opportunities for the exploration of creative effects with light and contrast. This means that the colour of the filter in the original scene becomes brighter and its complementary colour darker.
