This star inspired pendant is made with a rare, earth mined star ruby. The little accent stones are Moissanite, a lab created diamond replacement that is very durable and typically very expensive. The pendant and 20 chain are both set in solid .925 sterling silver with a rhodium plate. Both the star ruby and the Moissanite are extremely strong, sporting around a 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness. This necklace would be perfect for everyday use. The necklace in the photos is the one you will receive, so please see photos for gemstone quality/ inclusions. The star in the ruby is more pronounced with camera flash. It has a beautiful moon like glow without flash, as shown.
