It was a gift from my Aunt from 10 years ago and I’m looking to sell it. Marion Wallace Dunlop is a well known suffragette and writer from England who dabbled a bit in visual art. She was the first to start hunger strikes for women’s right to vote in England. She was also an artist who often illustrated for her literary works with Lino-cut prints but has extensive watercolor work as well. The piece I have in possession is a pretty large water color piece, a sister piece to another work on display at RISD Museum in Providence, Rhode Island. The piece I have now was on the Rhode Show a while back but I can’t find anything regarding to it. It is a gorgeous painting but I have no use for it and I’m looking to make a penny off of it.
Retails at about 3000 as said on Rhode Show
The painting itself is about 24 x 22” but is framed at 36” x 30”.
